THE PROBLEM

Your invoices look amateur

A US client paying $4,000 a month opens a Google Docs invoice with mismatched fonts and a logo pasted in the corner. It works, but it doesn’t look like the agency they thought they were hiring. First impressions stick around at renewal time.

Clients ask “where do I pay?”

Bank details in the email body. SWIFT instructions as a separate PDF. UPI option mentioned in a follow-up. Every foreign client has the same back-and-forth before the first payment goes out, and you’re the one chasing it.

Time and invoicing live in different tools

Hours tracked in Toggl. Invoices typed in Google Docs. End of month, you’re copying numbers between tabs, recalculating in your head, hoping you didn’t undercount the hours you spent on that scope-creeping client.

THE SOLUTION

How tickbit solves them

Invoices that look like a real business

Branded invoice templates in USD, EUR, GBP, or AED. Your logo, your colors, your business details, the GST export declaration your CA needs. Generated as PDF in two clicks from the hours you’ve already tracked. No formatting, no reconciliation, no apologies.

A public link your clients actually use

Every invoice has a public client portal link. Your client opens it, sees the invoice clearly, picks from your saved payment methods (Wise, Payoneer, SWIFT, bank wire, UPI), and pays. No account, no login, no email chain. The client experience that makes foreign customers refer you.

Time, invoicing, and margin in one place

The hours you log on a project flow directly into the invoice when you generate it. The profitability dashboard converts your USD revenue to INR and subtracts your effective hourly cost. You see which clients are worth your time and which are quietly underpaying.

Frequently asked questions

Is this overkill for just me?

No. The Free plan is built for solo work: 2 users (you and one collaborator), 3 projects, 3 invoices a month. The Starter plan at ₹199/month opens up unlimited projects and invoicing. You’re not paying for team features you don’t use, and the workflow is the same whether you’re one person or ten.

My clients pay through Wise / Payoneer / direct wire. Does the client portal handle that?

Yes. The client portal displays whatever payment methods you save: Wise email, Payoneer email, SWIFT/IBAN bank details, UPI ID, or any combination. The client picks how they want to pay and gets the details on the same page as the invoice. No separate emails, no chasing.

Will my invoices look professional enough for a US client?

Yes. The default invoice template is clean, branded, and includes business details, line items pulled from your tracked time, currency formatting that matches the client’s region, and the GST export-of-services declaration. It looks like an invoice from a small consultancy, not a Google Doc.

What about GST and taxes for foreign clients?

Invoices to foreign clients get the “Export of Services — Zero Rated under GST” declaration printed automatically, which is the wording your CA needs at filing time. tickbit doesn’t file your GST returns or replace your accountant. It does make sure the paperwork side is clean so your CA isn’t asking for re-issued invoices in March.
