for indian agencies

know which clients actually make you money

tickbit is the time tracking, invoicing, and profitability platform built for agencies billing foreign clients from India. Hours in rupees, invoices in dollars, margins per client visible in one place.

No card required. 14-day Pro trial included.

THE PROBLEM

You can’t see margin per client

You know your top-line revenue. You don’t know which of your fifteen clients are profitable, which are break-even, and which are quietly losing you money. Decisions about renewals, scope, and pricing all run on instinct because the numbers aren’t there.

Scope creep eats margin invisibly

A retainer quoted at 80 hours a month routinely runs to 110. The invoice stays the same. The team works more for less margin, and nobody sees it because hours and revenue live in different tools.

Multi-currency billing is a mess

USD invoices in Google Docs, EUR invoices in a different template, GST export declarations copy-pasted from last quarter. Every month-end is an hour of formatting and reconciliation before anyone sees a clean picture.

THE SOLUTION

How tickbit solves them

Live margin per client, in INR

Every hour your team logs gets multiplied by their loaded INR rate. Every invoice gets converted to INR at the realized exchange rate. The profitability dashboard shows current margin per client, per project, per month. The numbers update as work happens.

Hours tracked against estimates

Set an hour estimate when a project starts. tickbit tracks burn against that estimate as the team logs time. Cross 80% and the project flags. Cross 100% and you get an alert before the next invoice goes out, while there’s still time to talk to the client.

Multi-currency invoicing in one place

Generate invoices in USD, EUR, GBP, or AED with the “Export of Services — Zero Rated under GST” declaration printed automatically. Send via the public client portal where foreign clients pay through Wise, Payoneer, SWIFT, or bank wire. No separate invoicing tool, no copy-paste reconciliation.

Frequently asked questions

Can a team of 20 actually use this day to day?

Yes. tickbit is built around team workflows: timesheet submission, lead approvals, role-based visibility, and per-project assignment. Admins set up clients and projects, leads approve hours weekly, members log time through the timer or a manual entry. Pro has no seat ceiling, so the same workflow runs for 5 people or 50.

Does it handle retainers and fixed-fee projects, not just hourly billing?

Yes. Each project has a billing model: hourly, fixed-fee, or retainer. For retainers, set a monthly hour cap and tickbit tracks burn against it. For fixed-fee, set a total hour estimate and watch the margin shift as hours accumulate. Invoices generate the same way regardless of model.

How accurate is the profitability number, really?

As accurate as the loaded-cost rate you set per team member. tickbit takes the rate you configure (₹1,200/hour for a mid-developer, ₹1,800/hour for a senior), multiplies by hours logged, and converts foreign revenue to INR at the realized rate. If your loaded rates reflect actual fully-loaded cost (salary plus overhead plus benefits), the margin number is real.

Can I set different hourly rates for different clients and projects?

Yes. Rates cascade: set a default rate per team member, override it at the customer level, and override again at the project level. A senior developer can bill at $60/hour on Client A and $45/hour on Client B without changing their base rate. Invoices pull the correct rate automatically.
