Popular time trackers are good at one thing: recording hours. They were built for companies that bill and pay in the same currency. They don’t know what a person costs in rupees, they don’t know about LUT, SAC codes or Tally, and they don’t run attendance or PF.
So owners stitch together a tracker, an attendance sheet, an invoice template, a payroll tool and a spreadsheet to tie them together. The real margin on each client shows up after month-end, if it shows up at all.
